This page has information on where to find drinking water, restrooms, accessible restrooms, and changing tables throughout Cuyahoga Valley National Park. The list is ordered from north to south, with facilities grouped into three sections. Click the headings to view the details.

 

Rockside Station

  • The address is 7900 Old Rockside Road, Independence 44131.
  • No drinking water is available here.
  • The two restrooms meet ADA standards. Each has a pit toilet, grab bars, and a changing table.
  • The route from the parking lot is a wheelchair-accessible paved path.

Canal Exploration Center

  • The address is 7104 Canal Road, Valley View 44125.
  • Drinking water is available seasonally from spring to fall.
  • The two outside restrooms by the parking lot meet ADA standards. Each has a flushing toilet, grab bars, a sink, and a changing table.  
  • Additional restrooms are inside the center. It has seasonal hours. 
  • The route from the parking lot is a wheelchair-accessible paved path. 

Station Road Bridge

  • The address is 9141 Riverview Road, Brecksville 44141.
  • Drinking water is available seasonally from spring to fall.
  • The women’s room has sinks and two stalls with flushing toilets. The men’s room has sinks, one stall with a flushing toilet, and a urinal. One stall in each restroom meets ADA standards and includes grab bars and a changing table. 
  • The route from the parking lot is a wheelchair-accessible paved path. 

Red Lock Trailhead

  • The address is 1175 Highland Road, Sagamore Hills 44067.
  • No drinking water is available here.
  • The restroom meets ADA standards. It has a pit toilet and grab bars.
  • The route from the parking lot is a wheelchair-accessible paved path.

Boston Mill Visitor Center

  • The address is 6947 Riverview Road, Peninsula 44264.

  • Drinking water is available all year.
  • There are three restrooms off the courtyard. The family restroom meets ADA standards. It includes a flushing toilet, grab bars, and a changing table. The women’s room has sinks, five stalls with flushing toilets, and a changing table. One stall meets ADA standards. The men’s room has two stalls with a flushing toilet, three urinals, and a changing table. One stall and one urinal meet ADA standards. 

  • An additional restroom is available on the second floor of the visitor center. It meets ADA standards.

  • The route from the parking lot is a wheelchair-accessible path with paved and crushed stone sections. 

Boston Store

  • The address is 1550 Boston Mills Road, Peninsula 44264.
  • Drinking water is available all year.
  • There are two restrooms located behind the store. The women's room has two stalls with flushing toilets and a changing table. One stall meets ADA standards. The men's room has one ADA stall with a flushing toilet, one urinal, and a changing table.

Lock 29

  • The address is 1648 Mill Street, Peninsula 44264.
  • Drinking water is available seasonally from spring to fall.
  • There are two restrooms, each includes a stall that meets ADA standards. The women's room has two stalls with flushing toilets and a changing table. The men's room has one stall with a flushing toilet, one urinal, and a changing table.

Hunt House

  • The address is 2054 Bolanz Road, Peninsula 44264.
  • Drinking water is available seasonally from spring to fall.
  • There are two restrooms, each includes a stall that meets ADA standards. The women's room has two stalls with flushing toilets and a changing table. The men's room has one stall with a flushing toilet, one urinal, and a changing table.

Indigo Lake

  • The address is 4300 Riverview Road, Peninsula 44264.
  • No drinking water is available here.
  • The restroom meets ADA standards. It has a pit toilet and grab bars.

Ira Trailhead

Botzum Trailhead

Brandywine Falls

  • There are two restrooms, each includes a stall that meets ADA standards. The women's room has five stalls with flushing toilets and a changing table. The men's room has two stalls with flushing toilets and three urinals.

Boston Run Trailhead

Pine Lane Trailhead

  • The address is 1281 Pine Lane, Peninsula 44264.
  • No drinking water is available here.
  • The restroom meets ADA standards. It has a pit toilet and grab bars.

Kendall Lake Shelter & Trailhead

  • Drinking water is available all year.  
  • There are three restrooms located in the shelter. The women's room has three stalls with flushing toilets. One stall meets ADA standards. The men's room has one ADA stall with a flushing toilet and urinals. The family restroom has a single ADA toilet and changing table.

Octagon Shelter

  • The address is 499 Truxell Road, Peninsula 44264.
  • Drinking water is available seasonally from spring to fall.
  • There are two restrooms located in the shelter. The women's room has two stalls with flushing toilets and a changing table. One stall meets ADA standards. The men's room has one ADA stall with a flushing toilet, two urinals, and a changing table.

Ledges Shelter & Trailhead

  • The address is 405 Truxell Road, Peninsula 44264.
  • Drinking water is available seasonally from spring to fall. The water fountain is being replaced in early 2023.
  • There are two restrooms located in the shelter. The women's room has three stalls with flushing toilets and a changing table. One meets ADA standards. The men's room has one ADA stall with a flushing toilet, three urinals, and a changing table.

Horseshoe Pond

  • The address is 2075 Major Road, Peninsula 44264.
