Minidoka National Historic Site has special Junior Ranger programs geared for children. Minidoka's Junior Ranger program offers a great opportunity to interact with National Park Rangers, experience exhibits, and explore the site.

Participants in the program will complete an activity booklet consisting of up to eleven activities. The number of activities needed to be completed vary by age group. These activities highlight Minidoka and introduce the people who lived at Minidoka.

The Junior Ranger booklet is designed to be done on-site at Minidoka or it can be completed at the Hagerman Fossil Beds Visitor Center as most activities relate to what you see at the site.

If, due to time constraints, you cannot finish the book during your visit mail it back to Minidoka National Historic Site. A Park Ranger will review your booklet and then mail your booklet back to you along with the Minidoka Junior Ranger certificate and patch.
