The National Park Service turned 100 on August 25, 2016, and the entire year was quite a celebration! Throughout 2016, hundreds of millions of you ventured out to Find Your Park-learning, discovering, getting inspired, or simply having fun in national parks. Thank you for joining us!

National parks across the system engaged in a variety of activities to prepare for and celebrate the centennial. Weir Farm National Historic Site was a big part of this effort. Take a look at what we did and join us as the National Park Service enters a new century in 2017!
All 401 national parks are connected by their power to inspire. Weir Farm National Historic Site (WEFA, Connecticut) and Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area (DEWA, New Jersey and Pennsylvania) teamed up to offer an immersive youth arts program at the Peters Valley School of Craft along the Delaware River. With the help of artists and rangers, teens learned about the national parks and their connection to the arts. Read more
