Carter Barron Amphitheatre Closed for Repairs
The Carter Barron Amphitheatre closed after a 2017 inspection found that the stage’s substructure was not strong enough to handle the weight of performers and equipment onstage. The National Park Service (NPS) initially planned to repair the stage.
At this time, the Carter Barron Amphitheatre remains closed.
The Carter Barron Amphitheatre is located at 4850 Colorado Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20011, near the intersection of 16th Street and Colorado Avenue.
