Lassen Park FoundationThe Lassen Park Foundation is an official 501(c)(3) non-profit partner that supports projects and programs in Lassen Volcanic National Park. The Lassen Park Foundation has contributed funds for programs and projects including the construction of the Kohm Yah-mah-nee Visitor Center and Volcano Adventure Camp, trail restoration projects, and the ongoing youth camping program at the Volcano Adventure Camp. You can support the park by donating to the Lassen Park Foundation. Lassen AssociationEstablished in 1939, the mission of Lassen Association is to promote the discovery of Lassen Volcanic National Park, enrich the experiences of visitors, and support the preservation and protection of the park for future generations. Lassen Association is one of two official 501 (c)(3) nonprofit partners of Lassen Volcanic National Park and provides supports and assists the park in research, interpretation, and conservation programs. This including: Lassen Dark Sky Festival, American Pika research, Reach Higher Trail Challenge, Parkcaching Challenge, Junior Ranger program, and the semi-annual Park Guide. National Park ServiceYou can support Lassen Volcanic by making a donation directly to the National Park Service via donation boxes at the Kohm Yah-mah-nee Visitor Center or Loomis Museum or by mailing a check made out to Lassen Volcanic National Park to: Lassen Volcanic National Park Donations collected are used for exhibits, educational programs, or other park projects. Lassen Resilience CampaignLassen Association and Lassen Park Foundation, in partnership with Lassen Volcanic National Park, have created the Lassen Resilience campaign to showcase the park’s resilience and bolster recovery efforts following the 2021 Dixie Fire. Lassen Resilience Print by Artist Jake EarlyTo kick off the campaign, the nonprofit partners have commissioned Chico artist Jake Early to create an exclusive silkscreen print featuring Lassen Peak and a mosaic of wildfire effects. Limited edition signed prints and a small number of artist’s proofs are available for purchase on the Lassen Association website and at the Park Store inside the Kohm Yah-mah-nee Visitor Center. Net proceeds benefit park Dixie Fire recovery and education efforts. |
