![]() Become a Lassen Volcanic National Park Virtual Junior Ranger!Just like park rangers, junior rangers are important people who help preserve and protect Lassen Volcanic National park and all its features for present and future generations. While it may not be possible to visit Lassen Volcanic National Park in person, we'd like to invite you to become a junior ranger online. Here's how: 1. Download and print a Lassen Coloring Sheet. 2. Color the sheet and add your own styles and touches! 3. Take a picture of the completed coloring sheet (you can choose to be in the pic...or not) and send it to lavo_information@nps.gov. Include your name and mailing address. 4. Once we receive your email, we will mail you a paper cut-out Junior Ranger badge, a Junior Ranger sticker, and a certificate. Here's what they look like! ![]() 5. When you receive the certificate, say the Junior Ranger Promise with an adult and proudly display your certificate, sticker, and badge! 6. Congratulations! You're a Lassen Volcanic National Park Virtual Junior Ranger! ![]() Junior Ranger ProgramJunior Ranger booklets are available in the park. A ranger is available to hand out booklets, review completed Junior Ranger booklets, and award badges at the Loomis Museum (summer only) and Kohm Yah-mah-nee Visitor Center.
