Are you a Fourth Grader?

Want to get to your family into some of the most exciting and diverse national parks in the United States for FREE! You can do it by downloading and presenting a paper voucher from the Every Kid in a Park website and exchanging it for their 4th Grade Pass at participating parks. The pass is valid for the duration of the 4th grade school year through the following summer (September-August). The pass admits all children under 16, and up to three adults, for free into particpating parks.

Junior Rangers

Kids of all ages, including kids at heart, can earn their badge and become a Junior Ranger!

Junior Rangers learn about the National Park Service to help to preserve and protect our important resources and places. They also share their knowledge with others to help keep these special places around for future generations.To be a Junior Ranger is a special honor and privilege.

You can earn a Junior Ranger badge by completing a number of junior ranger booklet activities related to the site. After completing the Activity Booklet, you will receive a certificate, get sworn in as a Junior Ranger, and get to wear a badge just like official Park Rangers wear.

Junior Ranger Programs at our Park Sites

Each of the following park sites offer their own Junior Ranger programming. Some sites offer virtual Junior Ranger options, along with the traditional booklet format, while other sites only offer in person programming.
