Mammoth Cave Celebrates National Public Lands Day

Mammoth Cave National Park will host a public park clean-up event on Saturday, September 25 to celebrate National Public Lands Day. Participants should meet in the picnic area adjacent to the Mammoth Cave National Park visitor center at 8 am CDT for a brief orientation and safety meeting.

Those planning to participate are encouraged to wear sturdy shoes, long pants and a brightly colored shirt or high-visibility clothing. The park will provide disposable gloves, trash bags and other necessary cleaning supplies. Social distancing protocols will be observed during the clean-up activities and face masks are required inside federal buildings or when social distancing is not possible.
