Art, Wine & Brew of Lassen
Saturday, September 7, 2019 | 10 am to 4 pm | Kohm Yah-mah-nee Visitor Center
Taste wine from local vineyards, try a beer from an area brewery, sample products from regional entrepreneurs, and enjoy art and music from local artists on the visitor center patio. A $14 tasting fee includes 10 drink tickets and a commemorative glass. This event is hosted by the park concessioner, Snow Mountain, LLC.
Take the Reach Higher Trail Challenge and take your fitness level to new heights! The new 2019 challenge form invites participants to hike at least seven miles and learn more about Lassen's very own Sierra Nevada red fox to earn a commemorative bandana. Are you ready for the challenge?

National Public Lands DaySeptember 28, 2019
Participate in the nation's largest, single-day volunteer effort on National Public Lands Day. More information on specific volunteer opportunities will be available in the near future. By volunteering on this day, you will receive a fee-free day coupon to be used at a future date. Entrance to all National Park sites is also free on this date.
Propane Cylinder ExchangeKohm Yah-mah-nee Visitor Center | While Supplies Last
Stop tossing camping propane bottles and instead exchange one empty, disposable, one-pound propane cylinder for a free refillable cylinder. Learn more about refillable cylinders online or when you pickup your new refillable at the Kohm Yah-mah-nee Visitor Center only. Free, safe disposal of one-pound propane cylinders is also available all summer long outside the Visitor Center. This program is available with support from Tehama County Waste Management Agency, CalRecycle, and California Product Stewardship Council.
