Campground Reservations

You can reserve campsites during peak season up to six months in advance. Check here for information and other area camping options.

Fiery Furnace Tour Reservations

You may reserve tickets for the ranger-guided Fiery Furnace hike up to seven days in advance.

 
 

Permits

Backpacking

You can backpack to designated sites in the park. We issue permits in person at the Backcountry Permit Office two miles south of Moab up to seven days before the trip start date and up to 4:00 pm MT.

Climbing and Canyoneering

Permits are required for canyoneering and are advised for rock climbing. They are available at a self-issued station outside the visitor center.

Commercial Use Authorization

If you are a business interested conducting tours or similar services in the park, you must first obtain a Commercial Use Authorization.

Fiery Furnace Day-Use Hiking Permit

To enter the Fiery Furnace, you must accompany a ranger-guided tour or reserve a Self-Guided Exploration permit.


Special Use Permits

Gatherings and commercial activities in national parks often require a special use permit. Permits ensure the protection of the park's natural and cultural resources, as well as minimize conflicts between park visitors and your guests.

Special Use Permit holders may not require clients to sign a waiver of liability statement or form, insurance disclaimer and/or indemnification agreement.
