Fees & Passes

In the fall of 2014, the National Park Service conducted a nationwide review of park fees. Increased fees went into effect October 1, 2015.

 

Park Entrance Fees

Admission to Arches National Park is good for seven days.

Private Vehicle Fee - $25.00

Admits one private, non-commercial vehicle (15 passenger capacity or less) and all its occupants.

Motorcycle Fee - $15.00

Admits one individual on a private, non-commercial motorcycle. Any passengers pay the per-person fee not to exceed the private vehicle fee.

Per Person - $10.00

Admits one individual with no car. Typically used for bicyclists, hikers, and pedestrians. Youth 15 and under are admitted free.

National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Passes
We accept and issue all federal recreational lands passes at Arches.

  • Access Pass

Southeast Utah Group Annual Pass - $50 You may use this pass for one year through the month of purchase. The pass admits one private, non-commercial vehicle or its pass holder to Arches and Canyonlands national parks, and Hovenweep and Natural Bridges national monuments.

Every Kid In A Park Pass - Free Available to US 4th graders (including home-schooled and free-choice learners 10 years of age) with a valid Every Kid in a Park paper voucher.The pass is valid for the duration of the 4th grade school year through the following summer (September - August).Educators can also be involved! 2016 Fee Free Days

The National Park Service turns 100 years old in 2016. To celebrate, we're offering free entrance to Arches for 16 days in 2016. Mark your calendars for these fee-free days:

  • January 18: Martin Luther King Jr. Day
  • April 16 - 24: National Park Week
  • August 25 - 28: National Park Service Birthday
  • September 24: National Public Lands Day
  • November 11: Veterans Day

 

Commercial Tours

If you are conducting a commercial hiking, biking, or photography tour, you must have a signed commercial use authorization. If you will be leading a bus tour in Arches, please view our Bus Information page.

Fee depends upon the capacity of the vehicle.

Commercial group fees (per vehicle):

  • Vehicle capacity of 1 to 6 passengers: $25 + $5 per person, not to exceed $40
  • Vehicle capacity of 7 to 25: $40
  • Vehicle capacity of 26+: $100

Non-commercial Groups

A non-commercial organized group is a group traveling together such as scouts, a club, a church, or other organization that has organized its own itinerary. Group members may arrive in vehicles owned by the organization or in privately owned vehicles. Groups may also have hired a commercial driver or commercial vehicle for transportation services only.

Non-commercial group fees (per vehicle):

  • Vehicle capacity of 15 or less: $25
  • Vehicle capacity of 16-25: $10 per person age 16 and older, not to exceed $40.
  • Vehicle capacity of 25+: $10 per person age 16 and older, not to exceed $100.

You may use Annual and Lifetime passes. A pass may cover immediate family members or up to four people traveling with the group, depending on the pass.

Educational Fee Waivers

Accredited academic institutions may apply for an Entrance Fee Waiver.

Canyon Wren Group Site

  • 11-16 campers - $75/night
  • 17-22 campers - $100/night
  • 23-28 campers - $125/night
  • 29-35 campers - $160/night

Juniper Group Site

  • 11-22 campers - $100/night
  • 23-33 campers - $150/night
  • 33-44 campers - $200/night
  • 45-55 campers - $250/night

Ranger-led Hike
Adults - $16
Children (age 5-12) - $8
Children under 5 years of age are not permitted.

Morning Fiery Furnace hike tickets can be reserved in advance through www.recreation.gov.

Private Permit
Adults - $6
Children (age 5-12) - $3
Annual Permit - $15
Children under 5 years of age are not permitted.
