Yosemite Research Library Collections

The Yosemite Research Library is a specialized library focusing on human and natural history. It preserves Yosemite's documented history and serves the research needs of Yosemite National Park staff and partners. Collections include primary and secondary source materials.

While the Research Library has thousands of circulating volumes (available to park staff and partners), it is primarily a reference library. Many of the materials are out of print. There is an extensive rare book collection with volumes dating back to the 1800s.
