The park is open daily. It is closed on Thanksgiving Day, December 25^th, and January 1^st. The park may also close on select days due to hazardous weather conditions. Any unannounced closures will be posted on the Alert page and on the park's social media pages shortly after they are decided upon.

Current information on visiting hours, group tours, and programs is available by writing or calling in advance of your visit. Begin your visit at The Taft Education Center adjacent to the birthplace home. The center offers brochures, a gift shop, interactive exhibits, and orientation film. Staff members conduct tours of historically furnished rooms in the house. Other rooms display exhibits on Taft's early years and his political career.

William Howard Taft National Historic Site is a fee free park site.
