Beginning Sunday, May 15th, 2022: the park will resume normal guided tour operations. Tours of the Taft House will be available every thirty minutes on the hour and half-hour, starting at 9:00 a.m. The last tour of the day will leave at 4:15 p.m.

Currently through Saturday, May 14th, 2022: limited tours of the inside of the Taft house are available. A maximum of 10 people will be allowed in the house at any given time. All tours are currently self-guided with rangers nearby to answer questions. Visitors may tour the Taft house from 9:00 AM through 3:30 PM daily. The Taft Education Center closes daily at 4:00 PM. This temporary operational status will cease at the end of the day, Saturday, May 14th, 2022.

Visitors to the park can explore the home where William Howard Taft was born and raised. Normally, rangers provide guided tours every 30 minutes during normal operating hours. Guests will be able to view various rooms in the home that have special meaning to certain periods of Taft's life. The home is decorated in period, Victorian-era furnishings and motiff, giving guests the feel of what life was like during the years that Taft lived in the home.

Tour length is usually around 30 minutes, depending on the ranger program being given at the time. Time spent after the tour in the home is dependent upon visitor's availability to browse the interpretive exhibits and displays.

Guests can visit the park and them head over to the Taft Family Home to enjoy a ranger-guided tour of the home. After the tour, guests will have time to explore the interpretive exhibits in the home and ask rangers any questions about the tour and/or William Howard Taft.

No pets are allowed in the home, but service animals are permitted.

Entrance fees may apply, see Fees & Passes information.

Located north of downtown Cincinnati, the park is just minutes from the University of Cincinnati main campus on Auburn Ave.

Guided tours of the Taft Home are offered every thirty minutes, daily. The first tour leaves at 9:00 a.m. and the last tour of the day leaves at 4:15 p.m.
