MAMMOTH CAVE, Ky.– The Green River Ferry at Mammoth Cave National Park will be closed from 9 a.m., Tuesday, May 7 through 6 p.m., Wednesday, May 8 so park maintenance crews can replace frayed guide cables. The cables are needed to help stabilize the vessel as it shuttles vehicles across the river. The ferry will resume operations at 6 a.m. on Thursday, May 9.

The public will continue to have access to the Echo River Springs Accessible Trail and the canoe and kayak launch that is located in the Green River Ferry parking lot.
