Isle Royale National Park charges an entrance fee to help augment the cost of preserving and maintaining this special place.
Isle Royale National Park has one mainland (Houghton, MI) and two in-park (Rock Harbor and Windigo) Visitor Centers. The Houghton Visitor Center is open year-round.
The Rock Harbor and Windigo Visitor Centers have varying hours when the park is open April 16 - October 31. The Isle Royale National Park archipelago is closed October 31 - April 15 annually.
