On July 1, 2022, Cumberland Island National Seashore will be going cashless and will no longer accept cash for entrance fees and park passes. Although there are multiple benefits for going cashless, our main priority is the safety of our visitors and staff. Going cashless will also increase the visitor’s experience at Cumberland Island National Seashore by allowing the interpretative staff to spend more time engaging with our visitors. For the next 30 days as we transition to our cashless operation, visitors will have the option to pay cash; however, debit/credit cards are the preferred method of payment.
Private boaters can pay at Sea Camp, Dungeness, or Plum Orchard docks when arriving at the island. Debit/credit cards only.
