Public support is a critical component of the management of National Park Service land, which greatly benefits from the generosity and kindness of its visitors. You can get involved in a variety of ways: volunteer as a campground host, comment on park management plants, or shop in the park bookstore.

While visiting the park, be a park steward by leaving the park in as good or better condition than you found it. Park stewards treat the land with respect, follow park regulations, pick up litter, and view wildlife from a safe distance.

Enjoy the park and learn more about it by attending ranger-guided activities, hiking park trails, and visiting the visitor center. Buying a book or souvenir in the bookstore at the visitor center or online, through the Capitol Reef Natural History Association website, provides funding to park programs and publications.
