• Expect smoke around the Northeast Entrance through October. 
• Wildland fire staff will burn piles of woody debris in the area until the end of the month.  
• Burning the piles is the last step of the Firewise project where staff removed vegetation around buildings in order to reduce the threat of wildfire.
