The Bear Valley Visitor center will be closed for the week of November 16–20 while floors are refinished and new carpets are laid. Marin County Department of Public Works is paving Bear Valley Road.

On November 15 at the Bear Valley Visitor Center, Point Reyes National Seashore will host an electronic waste recycling collection, joining thousands of local organizers holding recycling events across the country to celebrate America Recycles Day.

The Taurid and Leonid meteor showers; annual mussel quarantine restrictions have been lifted; coho salmon and steelhead trout will be spawning soon; new artwork in the Bear Valley Visitor Center produced by the Latino Photo Project; maintenance work occurring at Bear Valley Visitor Center; the Bear Valley Visitor Center will be open on Veterans Day.

Berries are ripening; pink-footed shearwater travels past Point Reyes; seasonal harbor seal protection measures have been lifted; fireworks prohibited throughout Marin County, including at Point Reyes National Seashore; changes in visitor center hours.
