The Taurid and Leonid meteor showers; annual mussel quarantine restrictions have been lifted; coho salmon and steelhead trout will be spawning soon; new artwork in the Bear Valley Visitor Center produced by the Latino Photo Project; maintenance work occurring at Bear Valley Visitor Center; the Bear Valley Visitor Center will be open on Veterans Day.

Delta Aquarid meteor shower in late July; blue moon on July 31; "Lake Drake" returns to Drakes Beach; spring coho salmon smolt trapping data analysis; Woodpecker Trail closed until further notice; 36th Annual Big Time Festival on July 18.
