Saturday, November 14, 2015

As of Monday morning, the Bear Valley Visitor center will be closed for the week of November 16–20 while floors are refinished and new carpets are laid. Our staff will be posted outside under a white tent for questions, maps, camp permits, park business, etc., and answering the phones at 415-464-5100.

Marin County Department of Public Works is paving Bear Valley Road, and, according to lighted signs, this project also continues through the week. The equipment staging area and paving is currently between the park headquarters and Olema. The northern section and access to Limantour Road appear to be completed. Levee Road and Highway One provide throughways.
