The purpose of this organization is to fund critical needs projects that help interpret the significance of Manhattan Project National Historical Park -- Oak Ridge Unit. The group accepts contributions. Contributions donated to this fund are intended for use ONLY at the Oak Ridge location.

The Benton-Franklin River Heritage Foundation
The Benton-Franklin River Heritage Foundation, a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) will receive and hold donated tax-deductible donations in a dedicated account for the Hanford Unit of the Manhattan Project national Historical Park. The donations will be transferred to the National Park Service as needed and requested by the NPS Superintendent or to the new Friends Group once it is incorporated and has received its interim tax-exempt status from the IRS.
