Hot Springs, AR - Hot Springs National Park will host the Hot Springs Water Festival on October 7th from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm on the Arlington Lawn near historic Bathhouse Row.
The public is invited to Arlington Lawn for this free, family-friendly event. Booths will feature spring water taste testing, water coloring arts, water science demonstrations, large field games, and more. Visitors will be able to talk to the scientists, rangers, and volunteers who help protect and educate others about the area’s incredible hydrological story.
The Hot Springs Water Festival is a celebration of the area’s water resources and the organizations that help to protect them. Hot Springs National Park is home to a wealth of water resources including the 143°F thermal springs, the cold water spring systems, and several waterways inside the national park boundary. Other conservation groups that manage water use in the Ouachita Mountain region, including the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission and the US Army Corps of Engineers, and U.S. Geological Survey also will host booths at this year’s festival. No registration or tickets are required.
