Grand Canyon ranger led walk

Ranger-led Day Hikes (Suspended)

South Rim: Ranger led day hikes and walks take place along the Canyon Rim Trail year round. During the summer months an additional 3-mile round trip day hike into the canyon is also offered. Grand Canyon Conservancy Field Institute

Due to restrictions in park operations and recommendations regarding limiting public events and gatherings surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, GCC will be suspending 2021 Field Institute courses until further notice. More information and updates >
