Desert View Amphitheater Sunset Talk (1 hour before sunset) Monday and Wednesday
A 45-minute Ranger led program with a stunning view of the canyon before sunset. Explore the layers of Grand Canyon’s history, ecology and geology. Talk ends with enough time to take pictures and enjoy the view.
Desert View Amphitheater Grand Canyon Speaks (1 hour before sunset) Tuesday and Thursday
45-minute, interview style programs provide opportunities for Tribal members with personal connections to the canyon, to talk with park rangers and share their lived experiences through discussion, storytelling and hands-on learning. The Grand Canyon Speaks podcast provides an archive of past in-person programs.
Cultural Performances are hosted monthly at Desert View Ampitheater. Performances include tribal members sharing their rich history through storytelling, dance, music, and other great performances.
