Sunset Talks by park rangers along with cultural programs have taken place in the amphitheater, however, there are not talks currently scheduled during the summer of 2026. When program are presented, a beautiful sunset forms the backdrop. The talks start an hour before sunset, and end with enough time to take pictures and enjoy the view.

There may be special programs presented in the Amphitheater this year. Check the park's Digital Calendar for the week's schedule of programs and events.

During the evening, dress warmly for outdoor events. Seating is on stone benches.

All outdoor programs are subject to cancellation due to inclement weather or when lightning danger is present.

The amphitheater is part of a larger project, the Desert View Inter-tribal Cultural Heritage Site.
