What: In 2018, the Muir Woods National Monument reservation systems and lift station projects kicked off Redwood Renewal. This summer, work will begin to rehabilitate the Redwood Creek and restore habitat for coho salmon and other fish species. Coho salmon is a federally threatened species and the habitat restoration could help more juvenile fish survive. These projects will help preserve the Redwood Creek at Muir Woods National Monument for future generations. On Wednesday, August 7, Muir Woods National Monument invites media for a site tour of the work site and an overview of the projects.
