Flamingo Campground reservations can be made for the Flamingo Campground through Everglades Guest Services by calling them at (855) 708-2207 from November 20th - April 15th during the high season. No reservations are needed during off-season months between April 16 - Nov.19. During the summer wet season, portions of the campgrounds are closed due to flooding.

Long Pine Key Campground features 108 individual drive-up sites for tents and RVs available first-come, first-served. Reservations are not accepted for individual sites. The campground has one group site, for group site reservations call (305) 501-2852. The campground is closed from May 1 to September 30. To confirm annual opening date, call Everglades Guest Services at (855) 708-2207.

Everglades National Park Boat Tours - Gulf Coast

Boat tours of the Ten-Thousand Islands have resumed, departing from the Gulf Coast Visitor Center in Everglades City, FL. Tours operate every day, year-round. Boat tour tickets can be purchased in person at the temporary concessioner location at 905 S. Copeland Ave. Everglades City, FL 34139 or online through this link.

Everglades Guest Services - Flamingo Boat Tours
Due to damage from Hurricane Irma, boat tours at Flamingo are suspended until further notice.

Boat tours of Whitewater Bay and Florida Bay depart from the Flamingo Marina located next to the Flamingo Visitor Center (38 miles into the park, 50 miles from Homestead, FL). Tours operate every day, year-round. For additional information, please visit Everglades Guest Services' website here.


There are three authorized airboat businesses that offer professional airboat tours inside Everglades National Park. All three (Coopertown, Everglades Safari Park, and Gator Park) are located along US Hwy 41/Tamiami Trail between Miami and Shark Valley. Shark Valley Tram Tours

Guided two-hour narrated tram tours are offered along a fifteen-mile loop trail into the "River of Grass". For reservations, prices and hours, call 305-221-8455 or visit their website through this link.

Ranger-Led Programs
