Camping

There are two drive-in campgrounds accessible from the Homestead entrance of the park: Long Pine Key Campground and Flamingo Campground. Both accommodate tents and RV's with a limited number of group sites. Reservations can be made with Everglades Guest Services here or by calling 1-855-708-2207.

There are no front country campsites anywhere else in Everglades National Park.

New Concessioner at Everglades City - Services Begin July 1st

The National Park Service has awarded a 1-year temporary concessions contract to provide interpretive boat tours and equipment rentals at Everglades National Park's Gulf Coast. Boat tours will begin July 1st. Click the link below for more info. Guest Services Incorporated will provide narrated interpretive boat tours, departing from the Gulf Coast Visitor Center, four times daily; there will be six daily tours beginning in mid-December. Additionally, the concessioner is authorized under the temporary contract to provide small boat tours, retail sales, equipment rentals (canoes, kayaks, camping equipment), guided canoe or kayak excursions, and a water shuttle between Flamingo and the Gulf Coast Visitor Center.

Everglades Guest Services - Flamingo Boat Tours

Boat tours of Whitewater Bay and Florida Bay depart from the Flamingo Marina located next to the Flamingo Visitor Center (38 miles into the park, 50 miles from Homestead, FL). Tours operate every day, year-round. For additional information, please visit Everglades Guest Services' website.

Airboats

There are three authorized airboat businesses that offer professional airboat tours inside Everglades National Park. All three (Coopertown, Everglades Safari Park, and Gator Park) are located along US Hwy 41/Tamiami Trail between Miami and Shark Valley. Shark Valley Tram Tours

Guided two-hour narrated tram tours are offered along a fifteen-mile loop trail into the "River of Grass". For reservations, prices and hours, call 305-221-8455 or visit the Shark Valley Tram Tours website.

Ranger-Led Programs

Most ranger-led programs do not require any reservations. Programs that require reservations will have "RESERVATIONS REQUIRED" in the title and/or program description. For additional information, follow this link to our ranger-led program calendar.
