Jacob Dinkelaker has been selected to serve as the Eisenhower National Historic Site Interpretation Program Lead. The Interpretation Program Lead will be responsible for the shaping and guiding of the interpretive and education programs at the site.

“With NATO, Russia, Korea, and nuclear arms in our national discussion, I am thrilled to interpret the legacy of President and Mrs. Eisenhower, who seem as relevant as ever,” said Jacob. “We are excited to bring Jacob on board and to continue working towards revamping our visitor services and education programs,” said Ahna Wilson, Site Manager, “he is bringing a lot of experience gained from previous historic sites and it will be a great opportunity to move forward in our interpretation of the Eisenhower Farm.”

A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, Jacob started working seasonally for Gettysburg National Military Park in the summer of 2009. In the fall of 2011, Jacob moved to Washington, D.C., where he accepted a position with President's Park - The White House. At President's Park, Jacob created public programming for visitors at the White House Visitor Center, and did a detail in human resources with the National Park Service, Office of Diversity and Inclusion. In December of 2014, he moved on to a position as park ranger and site supervisor of Mount Locust Inn and Plantation on the Natchez Trace Parkway, in Natchez, Mississippi. A proud 2011 graduate of the College of Wooster, he holds a bachelor's degree in history and archeology as well as a master's in applied history from George Mason University. He is excited to return to the Mid-Atlantic and back to presidential history.
