Science Programs

Onsite science programs are available Monday-Thursday, with two program time slots per day: 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM and 11:15 AM - 12:15 PM (Except intertidal programs based on tide times).

Each hour-long program can accommodate 35 students. If you have more than 35 students, you will need to reserve BOTH time slots for a day. If you have more than 70 students, you will need to request multiple days. For each group of 35 students you will need to fill out a separate reservation form.

Any questions can be sent to cabr_education@nps.gov

If you sign up for a field trip, please make sure to check your spam folder for confirmation emails.

Our unique location on the Point Loma peninsula allows for student exploration into many unique and diverse habitats. Our Science Programs give students a glimpse into their connection with the natural world, while challenging their observational and critical thinking skills. Reservations are required.
