Updates to Education Website for Virtual Programming

Reservations for virtual science programming will remain open this summer!

*TWO NEW* virtual science educational programs available!

During this period of online learning, we have adapted 5 science education programs for an online platform – Science Sampler, Conservation + Comics, and Climate Kids: Ocean Acidification, and - just added - Tidepool Explorations and Plant Adaptations. For more information and to register, click on the lessons below. The last of our program offerings are being modified for an online platform and will be available soon – check back for more information.

Due to health and safety concerns over COVID-19 we regret to inform you that there are no in-person field trips offered at this time. This is a rapidly changing environment, and we will keep this website updated to reflect current guidelines.

Any questions can be sent to cabr_education@nps.gov

Our unique location on the Point Loma peninsula allows for student exploration into many unique and diverse habitats. Our Science Programs give students a glimpse into their connection with the natural world, while challenging their observational and critical thinking skills. Reservations are required.
