Biodiversity Snapshot

Grade Level: K-12

 

Biodiversity refers to the variety of life on this planet. Using the program iNaturalist, students become citizen scientists and collect data on the species at Cabrillo. This helps map the diversity of this area to measure impacts and changes over time while engaging students in a fun and interactive way. For younger students, Biodiversity Bingo is available for use.

Reservations are for in-person programming.

Scheduling is done on a first-come first-served basis.

Onsite science programs are available Wednesday - Friday, with two program time slots per day: 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM and 11:15 AM - 12:15 PM (Except intertidal programs based on tide times).

Available September-May.
