Celebrate Junior Ranger and International Migratory Bird Day

WINTER HARBOR, MAINE – On Saturday May 19 join park rangers to celebrate “Junior Ranger and International Migratory Bird Day” with a day full of free family activities and outdoor events. Meet at Eliot Hall on the Schoodic Point campus near the water tower, rain or shine. Event is open from 1-4 p.m. and geared toward children ages 12 and under accompanied by an adult.

Activities for children include learning about the plants and animals of Schoodic Point, what it takes to be a firefighter for the National Park Service, as well as artistic opportunities and games. This event is sponsored by the National Park Service, Bar Harbor Bank & Trust, and Schoodic Institute at Acadia National Park. For specific information on this event, please call 207-2088-1310.
