SPRINGDALE, UT – US Park Rangers of Zion National Park in Utah are investigating multiple vehicle burglaries that occurred in the park.

On 5/25/21, two vehicles were burglarized at a hiking trailhead in Zion National Park. Credit cards, among other items, were stolen and subsequently used to purchase gift cards at the Walmart in Cedar City the same day. This may be related to other burglaries in the region, and information on the suspects, if known, is requested.

Surveillance footage from Walmart showed some distinguishing features of the two suspects, although they were wearing face masks at the time. One African American male, short hair, earring in both ears, necklace, and tattoo on the back of his right hand. One African American female, long hair in braided dreadlocks, possible tattoo on back of left hand, wearing large bracelets on left arm, two rings on right hand, long white fake fingernails, and bright yellow Air Jordan shoes.

See attached photos from security cameras, if these individuals are recognized, please let us know. Information from other visitors is often very helpful to investigators. If you were in the area during this timeframe or if you have information that could help, please contact us. You don’t have to tell us who you are, but please tell us what you know.
