Angels Landing Trail Closing for Trail Repairs

SPRINGDALE, UT – Zion National Park’s trail crew will be closing Angels Landing Trail Tuesday, August 20 through Wednesday, August 21, 2019, in order to replace multiple posts which support the chain sections on the trail. The trail will close at 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 and should reopen by 6:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 22, 2019, once the posts have fully cured.
 
Access to Scout Lookout and the West Rim Trail will remain open for hikers during trail project. For up to date trail information, please visit our Current Conditons page, stop by the visitor center, or follow the Park on Twitter.
