SPRINGDALE, UT – Zion National Park Rangers along with Washington County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the missing person case of Holly Suzanne Courtier. The Search and Rescue efforts are continuing today with K-9 Units from the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources and Washington County and Search and Rescue crews within the Narrows and Eastside Areas of Zion National Park.Photos: Utah Division of Wildlife Resources K-9 Unit search team at Zion National Park, September 13, 2020
Investigative leads have been positive from the established tip line and have continued to assist investigators. On October 06, 2020 at approximately 1:00 - 1:30 pm, Courtier was dropped off by a private shuttle bus at the Grotto parking area. Courtier’s intended travel plan is unknown. If you were hiking in the area of the Grotto Trailhead on this date and time, please contact our tip line below.
On October 8, she was reported missing to the park. On October 9, Zion National Park rangers began search efforts.
Courtier is 38 years old, 5’3”, 100 lbs. She has brown hair and blue eyes. She may possibly be wearing the following items: a Pistil Gray Trucker Hat, a Patagonia Black Nano Puff Jacket, a Dark Tank Top, a Danner Trail Gray Hiking Boots, and an Osprey Blue Multi-Day Pack. The following items could possibly be with her: a Kuhl Cream Open-front Hoody, a Rumple Nanoloft Puffy Blanket, and a Camouflage Doublesize Hammock. Her intended travel plan is unknown and her current whereabouts are unknown.
