Carolyn Van Syoc was the winner of the 2024 Labor Day Quilt Display at Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve with her quilt named, "Civil War Tribute." It measures 100 x 110 inches.Each block represents a different battle of the Civil War. The quilt commemorates 150th anniversary of the beginning of the war in 1861.
Thank you to everyone who shared their quilt(s) for display and to all the visitors who enjoyed viewing them. Nearly 800 people viewed the quilts over the weekend.
