Live with a Ranger! Virtual Education Programs

Bring a virtual Ranger into your classroom! These live Ranger-led virtual programs are 45 minute or 1 hour (depending upon topic) curriculum–based science programs based on our grade-level focused topics. There is a minimum of 10 students to participate and prior registration is required. If you would like to request a virtual program, please complete a program request.

Pre-recorded Videos

These are pre-recorded virtual ranger programs that cover a variety of natural and historical topics. Choose from a variety of subjects to help meet curriculum learning objectives. Videos listed below offer curriculum-based worksheets that can be used in the classroom!

Interactive Curriculums

These online interactive programs are teacher- or self-led. They allow students to explore the history of Shenandoah National Park and learn how it became the special place that it is today. Each program has 5 lessons that include informative videos, interactive activities, and thought-provoking journaling/discussion questions. Designed for middle and high school history and social science students, teachers can adapt the resources within these programs to meet their instructional needs.
