Virtual Education Programs
Live Ranger-led virtual curriculum–based science programs based on our grade-level in-park field trip lesson plans.
These interactive programs allow students to explore the history of Shenandoah National Park and learn how it became the special place that it is today. Each program has 5 lessons that include informative videos, interactive activities, and thought-provoking journaling/discussion questions. Designed for middle and high school history and social science students, teachers can adapt the resources within these programs to meet their instructional needs.
Pre-recorded Videos and Interactive Features
These are self-guided tours and pre-recorded virtual ranger programs that cover a variety of natural and historical topics. Choose from a variety of subjects to help meet curriculum learning objectives. Some of these videos offer curriculum-based worksheets that can be used in the classroom!
