Many of the park's waterfalls can be accessed on foot. Munising Falls, Sable Falls, and Miners Falls are the easiest to reach.

The Pictured Rocks Cliffs extend for 15 miles along the Lake Superior coast. Minerals stain the rocks to give the cliffs color.
The Grand Sable Dunes extend for 5+ miles and rise 300 feet above Lake Superior.

Miners Castle reminded early explorers of a rock castle with its turrets. Erosion is constantly changing this unique formation.
