Bats and White-nose Syndrome Program at Munising Library on August 5
(Munising, MICH.) Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore interpreter Andrea Chynoweth will present a program about bats and white-nose syndrome at the Munising Public Library on Tuesday, August 5, at 1:30 p.m. The library is located at 810 State Highway M-28 West, in the Munising Middle/High School.White-nose syndrome is a devastating fungal disease that has killed more than seven million bats in the eastern United States since 2006. It was found in Michigan for the first time earlier this year.
