During snow plowing operations or when otherwise posted, park roads are closed to all other uses, included bicycling, hiking, skiing, and snowmobiling. Visitors should check road closure signs on closed road gates before proceeding.
Information on seasonal road closures within Mount Rainier National Park can be found on the park’s roads status page. Information about State Route 410 (Chinook Pass) and State Route 123 (Cayuse Pass) is located on the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) mountain passes website.
