Update on Closures

Park staff continue to clean up and repair areas closed by heavy rains last week.

Open

• Pinto Basin Road, between Park Blvd and Cottonwood Visitor Center is open.
• Cottonwood Visitor Center and Cottonwood Campground (loop A) are open, but can only be accessed from the west and north entrances.
• Queen Valley, Desert Queen Mine, Bighorn Pass, O'Dell, and Geo Tour roads are open.

Closed

• Cottonwood Campground (loop B)
• Pinto Basin Road between Cottonwood Visitor Center and the south entrance (off I-10).
• South entrance (off I-10)
• Black Eagle Mine and Old Dale roads.
• Cottonwood Oasis parking lot and trail will be closed until survey work can be completed.
