Two Arrests Made in Case Involving Human Remains Found in Joshua Tree National Park

Two arrests have been made in the suspected homicide of Henry Stange, 54, of Murrieta, whose remains were found inside Joshua Tree National Park on June 2, 2018.

An initial investigation was conducted by National Park Service rangers, and was continued by Riverside County homicide detectives. The case was later transferred to the Murrieta Police Department. Evidence led to the apprehension of Curtis Lee Krueger and Nicole Ashlie Stapp on suspected murder charges.
