Snow and Rain Cause Road Closures In Joshua Tree National Park

Due to heavy snow and rain activity on the morning of December 26, park officials have closed Keys View, Odelle, Big Horn, and Pine City Roads. All roads within the park are subject to closure due to winter storm conditions, and additional roads may close depending on the weather. The Keys Ranch Tour has been canceled today and will likely be canceled tomorrow.
 
Please use caution driving in the park today. Avoid driving through running water. Slow down and exercise caution when driving in wet and icy conditions. Remember, roads can be slick even if they do not appear wet. Campers should be advised to make other plans or be prepared for snow camping.
