Twentynine Palms, California - Joshua Tree National Park management is honored to be among the local and federal agencies, districts, and non-profit organizations to receive a portion of a $33.5 million California State Parks’ Off-Highway Motor Vehicle Division (OHMVR) grant. The recreation, education, protection and restoration this grant provides for citizens and public lands in California will help Joshua Tree managers in their quest to help restore and protect public lands previously damaged by illegal use and will support education and outreach to our communities.
Joshua Tree National Park has received $920,000 in grant money for this endeavor.
