Joshua Tree National Park Sponsors Uncle Ruthie Bell at Sky’s the Limit

On Sunday, August 12 at 8 pm, the park will sponsor an evening of music with Uncle Ruthie Buell. Buell is a singer, songwriter and longtime radio host of “Halfway Down the Stairs” on KPFK, Los Angeles. She will be entertaining at Sky’s The Limit Nature Center and Observatory while the Perseid Meteor Shower dances across the night sky.

Sky’s The Limit is located on Utah Trail, just outside the north entrance of Joshua Tree National Park. This event is free to the public so bring your own lawn chair, refreshments and a red-lens flashlight and be prepared to sing along. Afterwards, attendees are invited to stay and watch the meteor shower.
