Inbound Lanes Closed Due to Dangerous Road Conditions

Inbound lanes to Joshua Tree National Park are currently closed due to extreme weather and dangerous road conditions. The outbound lanes are open for visitors who are currently in the park. Park officials hope to open the inbound lanes to traffic tomorrow, December 27, 2019 in the morning. Please check the park website and Facebook page for updates.

Campgrounds will remain open only to campers who are already set up in a campsite. It may be safer for some campers to stay in their campsite instead of driving out of the park. Please use extreme caution.

The Keys Ranch Tour have been canceled for today and tomorrow. Park visitor centers will be closing early today due to staffing and safety concerns.
