There is no fee to enter Herbert Hoover National Historic Site, which includes the Visitor Center, Birthplace Cottage, Blacksmith Shop, Schoolhouse, Friends Meetinghouse, Gravesite, and Tallgrass Prairie.
Admission to the Herbert Hoover Presidential Library & Museum costs:
- $10.00 for adults, ages 16 to 61.
- $5.00 for seniors, active and retired military with ID, and college students with ID.
- $3.00 for children, ages 6 to 15.
- Free for children, ages 5 and under.
Teacher, students, and one chaperone for every 10 students will be granted free admission to the Presidential Library & Museum. Chaperones exceeding the 10 to 1 ratio must pay full admission. For home school groups, one adult per family will be granted free admission, if the group schedules in advance. All other adults in the group must pay full admission.
Federal Recreational Lands Passes
If you plan to visit other parks with an entrance fee, learn more about the America the Beautiful - The National Parks & Federal Recreational Lands Pass series and fee-free days in the national parks. Senior and Annual passes are no longer sold at Herbert Hoover National Historic Site. Rangers issue free federal recreation lands passes (Access, Military, and 4th Grade passes) at the Visitor Center.
