HARPERS FERRY, W.Va. – Harpers Ferry National Historical Park (NHP) will increase its entrance fees in 2019 and 2020 as part of the National Park Service’s efforts to address infrastructure needs and enhance the visitor experience. Effective January 1, 2019, the park’s per vehicle fee will increase to $15, and the per person fee will increase to $7.
All of the money from fees remains in the National Park Service, with at least 80 percent retained by Harpers Ferry. The park will use the funds to repair and maintain facilities, improve amenities, provide additional visitor programs and services and complete deferred maintenance projects.
