Things to Do:
Fort Barrancas Visitor Center features exhibits about the history of the area and is staff by park rangers or volunteers. The center also has a bookstore and restrooms for visitors convenience.
Visitors can take self-guiding tours of Fort Barrancas and the Spanish Water Battery. Additionally, there is a self-guiding tour of the exterior of the Advanced Redoubt. Ranger guided tours are available throughout the year, visit our calendar page to see current programs available.
Hiking trails follow historic routes used by soldiers stationed at the forts and picnic areas are available near the visitor center.
